Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? I do!
There’s something very special about cookies. Chocolate chip in particular. When I was a child growing up in the Bronx, my great grand mother would pick me up after school. I couldn't wait to see the greenish dress she wore everyday and that crooked wig. We sat on the stoop, she pulled out at bag of chocolate chip cookies and a mason jar of cold tea. That first bite rendered me weak, the second bite transported me to another place in time. The sheer comfort of melting chocolate and the cascading flow of ice cold tea was complete happiness, joy and understanding. It’s been a long journey of loving cookies. My mission: to bake, share and love, everyday, but with a few new ingredient twists. SabrinaB
